Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about what Weight Loss Hut is, what it is not, and how it treats you and your data.

The basics

What is Weight Loss Hut?

A membership programme for sustainable weight loss. It brings together nutrition guides built for smaller appetites, beginner-friendly strength training, coaching content and an AI assistant that knows your goals. The aim is simple: lose weight in a way you can live with, and keep it off for good.

Is Weight Loss Hut a pharmacy or a clinic?

No. We do not sell medicines, we do not issue prescriptions and we do not provide clinical services. If you are looking into any clinical service, speak to your GP or a regulated provider, and check any online pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council at pharmacyregulation.org.

Does Weight Loss Hut give medical advice?

No. Everything on this site, including the AI assistant, is education and coaching. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a regulated clinician. If you have a health concern, talk to your GP or pharmacist.

Joining and your data

Who can join?

Adults only. You must be 18 or over, and we ask you to confirm this when you create an account.

What happens to the answers I give when I join?

Your onboarding answers - goals, food preferences, activity level and anything else you choose to share - are used only to personalise your programme and the AI assistant. They are never shown publicly, never sold and never shared for marketing. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time.

The AI assistant

How does the AI assistant work?

You ask questions in plain English and it answers using our evidence-graded guides plus the goals and preferences you have set. Think of it as a well-read coach who has done the background reading and remembers what you are working towards.

What are the AI assistant's limits?

It cannot diagnose, prescribe or give medical advice, and it will tell you to speak to a clinician when a question needs one. Like any AI, it can occasionally get things wrong, which is why our guides show their sources and review dates so you can check for yourself.

Membership

How much does membership cost?

The free plan costs nothing and includes selected guides plus a limited number of AI questions. Gold is £9.99 a month (or £99 a year) for the full library and unlimited assistant. Ultimate is £29.99 a month (or £299 a year) and adds a weekly one-to-one with a fitness expert. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.

How do I cancel?

From your account page, at any time. Membership runs month to month with no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

Do you promise a certain amount of weight loss?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. People differ, and results vary. What we promise is an honest, evidence-based programme focused on sustainable habits and long-term maintenance.
